Have you heard of the Make a Boob Movement sweeping the globe? Recently, several of my friends have been diagnosed with various stages of breast cancer so I've decided to make some boobs. So boob planning has been underway! I thought I would share some of my boob ideas...
As you can tell- I am a theme girl! So my boobs need themes! I am working of my 5 stages of grief (which is what a cancer patient goes through as well) boobs now, but struggling a bit with the bargaining boob!
Just thought I would share!

Don't forget brand-new perky boob!! (They point up!)
ReplyDeletelol @ Sarah -- you both are cracking me up! :) What a fun project!
ReplyDeletePerky boob on the way- stay tuned!
ReplyDeleteHi! My Dragon Boat team (for breast cancer survivors (I'm a supporter), we decorated bras!
ReplyDeleteWe wore them at an International Festival in Peterbourough Ontario, and we use them from time to time to decorate at events, etc
Lots of great comments!
You can do a google search to the Southern Carolina group who decorated bras and then auctioned them off for Cancer Society fund raising. They also made a book to sell to raise more money!
Lots of really cute themes!
Take care, Leslie
I'm a librarian ... and since my chemo ended 2 years ago my once long flowing loose natural curls look much like the permy pile just like your "Librarian Boob" is sporting. You caught the chemo curls pretty much right on. Half the time I look like "Pat" from old Saturday Night Live and other times like "Orphan Annie" or Krusty the Clown from the Simpsons. Not sexy. Not one bit.
ReplyDeleteMostly I've felt more like your Goober Boob looks. And that's how my hair looked when it first started growing back ... a bit like PigPen from the Peanuts. And I pretty much felt that beat up.
I still feel pretty beat up a year and a half after treatments ended but ... at least I'm alive!! YEAH for that!! I'm missing half a boob so I'm a Lopsided Boob.
Thanks for the chuckle. I think you need a "Survivor Boob" but, if you want to be "real", you'll have to honour those who have fallen to breast cancer and include a "Dead Boob". Just sayin ...
Well Sarah and Heather- I've given you new boobs! Perky was easy-a cheerleader is perky. But for Heather, I tried to capture the various things you were feeling! I hope I did ok..enjoy your boob and a contined path to recovery! Servivor boob coming soon- not sure I can capture the dead boob- that's just makes me sad! But I'll try!
