A Day Worth Celebrating!

I don't really talk about my personal life here on Burgundy Button's Blog, but today is a day that must be shared!  Today is a day worth celebrating.  For me, today is not April Fool's Day, but a day I choose to celebrate life, a day I choose to celebrate the fact that I am here no matter what comes my way.  Today is a day I celebrate ME.

Today is that day that I FIFTEEN years CANCER FREE!

Yay ME!

I know there are many that struggle celebrating today because they are dealing with battles they didn't expect.  But I pray that one day,  I will hear you say that you are fifteen years cancer free too!

  17. Congratulations!! My mom has her "hopefully" last chemo on April 10th. So, I'm hoping in 15 years, she can say the same thing. Thanks for sharing with us so we can all celebrate with you!! Here's to the next 15!! and the next 15... and the next 15... etc.

  18. Wonderful! Great news! I get excited when I read someone is cancer free for any number of years. My husband is a 9 year colon cancer survivor!
    So it is a good day to celebrate You!

  24. Congratulations! I completed my chemo last May for stage 4 colon cancer and will celebrate my one year cancer free anniversary on June 29th!

  25. That is so awesome. I will celebrate 1 year anniversary of beating breast cancer in May and I feel very lucky. Hopefully, like you, I will be celebrating 15 years out.
    Love your site(on another note). Are you only an internet shop? i visited Franklin a couple of years ago and thought it was delightful.
